Paul co-founded Europa Partners in 2000. He spent the largest part of his career prior to Europa Partners in TMT M&A at SBC Warburg (now UBS). After UBS he was a Board Director at the specialist media bank Guinness Mahon. He has guided clients through complex transactions, requiring a deep understanding of their goals and often working discreetly behind the scenes.
Jan Skarbek
Partner
Jan has over 30 years of experience in the UK advising public companies and private equity clients on strategic issues and transactions. For over ten years, he led Citigroup’s investment banking franchise in the UK & Ireland. He enjoys offering independent, experience-based advice and “premium execution”.
Paul Marshall
Partner
Paul is Chief Financial Officer and a senior member of the transactions execution team. He has been Chief Financial Officer of UBS Capital, GMT Communications Partners and Lion Capital. He started his career as an accountant at Ernst & Young.
David Fudge
Partner
David joined Europa Partners in 2024, after spending 12 years in the UK Investment Banking team at Citigroup. He has extensive experience providing corporate finance and M&A transaction advice across all sizes and sectors. He has advised on complex M&A transactions involving UK PLCs, governed by the UK Takeover Code, as well as acquisitions and disposals of private companies.
Neil Benedict

Neil is based in New York. He was formerly a Partner and Managing Director at Salomon Brothers, where he was Head of International Capital Markets, and a Partner and Managing Director at Dillon, Read in New York and Tokyo. He is a member of the International Media Council of the Paley Center in New York.
Dominic King
Vice-President
Dominic has six years UK advisory experience, previously at Citigroup and Goldman Sachs. He has a background in Corporate Broking and experience on shareholder dynamics in public M&A situations.
William Byun
Analyst
William joined Europa Partners in 2022. He studied Economics at the London School of Economics and has a Masters in Financial Analysis from London Business School.
Sonia Zisman
Analyst
Sonia joined Europa Partners in 2024, having spent two years in the UK Investment Banking team at Citigroup, where she contributed to the execution of several M&A transactions across a range of sectors. She studied History at the University of Oxford.
Harry Speller
Analyst
Harry joined Europa Partners in 2023. He studied Chemistry at the University of Bristol and has a Masters in Chemistry from Imperial College London.
